Trying BrandPresence should begin with one question: does this give your team useful evidence about how AI systems see your brand? It should not begin with a payment form.
That is why BrandPresence now starts with a free AI visibility snapshot before pricing. Enter your website, create the passwordless workspace, review the inferred setup, and explicitly start the bounded measurement. No plan, card, or payment details are required.
The resulting headline is shareable. Full answers, citations, source evidence, and ongoing controls stay inside the workspace. After you inspect the result and optionally connect Search Console or Google Analytics 4, you can choose an eligible seven-day Starter Monthly or Growth Monthly trial. If you do not later add a payment method, Paddle automatically cancels that trial.
What changed
Previously, starting a monthly BrandPresence trial meant completing Paddle Checkout and saving a payment method first. The trial was free, but the first step still felt like a purchase decision.
The new flow puts evidence first. A website submission carries the domain into passwordless registration. BrandPresence infers the site setup, but no provider work begins until an owner or admin chooses Run my free snapshot.
Only after the snapshot is available does pricing become the next decision. The optional paid-plan evaluation uses Paddle's cardless trial support, so eligible Starter and Growth monthly trials can begin without opening a payment checkout or saving billing details. BrandPresence reuses the completed free snapshot instead of repeating the same provider work.
What the free snapshot includes
The trial is designed to answer a practical question: where does your brand appear, disappear, or lose ground when AI systems answer the buying questions that matter?
Each eligible workspace can explicitly start one free snapshot with:
- one technical scan covering 100 pages
- three buyer questions inferred from the site context
- nine AI answer samples across OpenAI, Perplexity, and Google Gemini APIs
- a public, shareable headline with mention rate, observed competitors, source domains, provider disagreement, and one concrete technical evidence item
- protected workspace access to full answers, citations, sources, and retained evidence
- one successful Google Search Console import
- one successful Google Analytics 4 import
- one successful Bing Webmaster Tools import
- one successful Cloudflare crawler snapshot
This is enough to decide whether the evidence is useful before choosing a plan. Nothing starts merely because the domain was submitted or the workspace was created.
The snapshot is limited to one eligible organization and registrable domain, with bounded daily capacity and provider spend. Changing site settings cannot restart it. Successful evidence remains available in the workspace if a provider or page is unavailable; BrandPresence does not present unavailable evidence as zero.
How the cardless trial works
The snapshot, the cardless trial, and paid continuation are separate decisions:
- Enter your website and create the passwordless workspace.
- Review the inferred site setup, then select Run my free snapshot. No plan, card, or payment details are required.
- Inspect the shareable headline and the protected answer, citation, source-domain, competitor, and technical evidence.
- Optionally connect Search Console and Google Analytics 4 to add first-party search and AI-referral evidence.
- Choose Starter Monthly or Growth Monthly only if you want a seven-day evaluation of ongoing access.
- Select Start 7-day free trial. BrandPresence links the existing snapshot to the trial instead of rerunning it.
- If you want ongoing access, select Add payment method in Account → Billing & plan before the trial ends.
- Paddle charges the selected monthly price when the trial ends, provided the payment succeeds.
- If no payment method is added, Paddle automatically cancels the subscription at the end of day seven.
Annual plans still use the normal paid checkout and do not include a trial. Trial eligibility is determined by BrandPresence and is limited to one trial for an eligible organization and registrable domain.
No hidden renewal decision
Cardless does not mean the renewal terms disappear. It means you can evaluate the product before providing payment details.
During the trial, Account → Billing & plan shows the trial end date, the monthly price that applies if you continue, and a clear Add payment method action. Adding a payment method is the explicit signal that you want the selected monthly subscription to continue after the trial.
The free snapshot requires one explicit start before BrandPresence creates questions or spends provider allowance. Starting the later cardless trial does not rerun that snapshot. If you do not add a payment method, the subscription does not become an active paid plan and Paddle cancels it automatically.
Start with evidence, then decide
AI visibility is too variable for a useful product decision to rest on a polished demo or one cherry-picked screenshot. You need to see your questions, your site, the observed answers, and the source trail together.
The free snapshot and cardless trial make that evaluation sequence explicit: inspect the evidence, add first-party context if useful, choose a plan only when you want ongoing monitoring, and add payment details only if BrandPresence deserves a place in your workflow.
